DAY 463

DAY 463 pupdate on Tugg:
Yesterday, after finding out his prediction was correct that the Rangers will be playing the Cardinals in the World Series, Tugg watched the season premiere of "The Walking Dead." Today, he spent much of the day making sure we are ready "just in case" for the Zombie Apocalypse...
3 photos today.

Since I was making sure the house was ready, in case the Zombie Apocalypse breaks out, I decided I might as well take advantage of Howl-O-Ween coming up, and make my own haunted house! Duckie, Ajaxx and I think we made it one of the scariest haunted houses around! All the neighborhood kids lined up around the block to go through it!

And, not only is it scary and spooky, but we also made a zombie shoot-em-up in the back yard — or as we call it, the Place of Buried Bones! What we did is, we have some volunteers out there that ACT like they are zombies and they wander around and ACT like they are going to get the "guests" going through the house. The guests then get to "shoot" the "zombies" with paintball guns! It is pawesome!

I can't do a very spooky laugh, so, just pretend like I did just now! OK, now, Who dares to enter Tugg's Haunted House?! BOOOOWAAHAHAHAHA!

DAY 462

DAY 462 pupdate on Tugg:

We heard Tugg and Ajaxx talking in the studio today. Then we heard what sounded like writing on the dry erase board. We peeked in and saw Tugg drawing some equations on the board and Ajaxx drawing the same equations on a piece of paper. Ajaxx looked at Tugg and said, "So, let me get this straight — In Quantum Physics, particles move backward as well as forward in time and appear in all possible places at once, and the universe is splitting, every Planck-time (10 E-43 seconds) into billions of parallel universes? Can't we then find one of those dimensions?"
"I already have," Tugg answered. "Here, let me show you..."
2 photos today.

Yesterday I said I wanted to make a prediction, but didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Well, I decided that since the two teams are playing tonight, I would go ahead and tell you my prediction — since I think they will win tonight and clinch it! Yep, you guessed it, I think it's going to be The Rangers and the Cardinals in the World Series!

I kind of guessed that it would be the Cards and the Rangers! Besides, these are the only two baseball team caps I have! When they do start playing the World Series, it will be fun to watch... BUT I'll be cheering for both teams! (You guessed it, at my house we have fans of both of these teams!)

DAY 334

DAY 334 pupdate on Tugg: Tugg was in the workshop out back, tinkering with his Time Machine, when we saw a big flash of blue light, followed by a muffled POOF sound, and a little smoke. We then saw Tugg run in, stop, give us a funny look and head out the front door. A few seconds later, we saw Tugg run in through the back door again, and ask for a green balloon and a piece of Zinc wire...
1 photo today.

I wanted to pose in my new red cape out by the light pole. I forgot I left my time machine running, and it really drained down the charge from the solar array. But, that's not the strange thing! When I looked at the photos that were taken of me, this is what I saw. On the left is me posing in my new red cape. On the right, that looks like me, and that looks like my light pole and fence, BUT I don't have a BLACK cape, and I certainly don't wear a mask! Who is that dog!? Why does he look like me!? Why is he wearing a mask and a black cape in my yard!? Why didn't I see him there!?

DAY 331

DAY 331 pupdate on Tugg: We heard kids playing outside, and later we heard a faint knock at the door. Tugg answered it, said he'd be back later and went outside. After a while we wondered what he was up to, so we looked out the front window. Kids were playing, but there was no Tugg. We walked down the street and found him — carefully and quietly helping a 96-year-old neighbor tend his vegetable garden.
2 photos today.

It's kind of hard to believe that it's only been about three months since my sister Shimmi was found and came here to get better!

I almost don't remember that day 11 months ago... In another month I will have been here with mommy and daddy a whole year! Time really does fly!

DAY 327

DAY 327 pupdate on Tugg: Tugg was hanging out in the studio today, and we thought he was working on a special art project he said he was going to work on. When we saw the big flash of light and heard the thunder clap, we knew differently. Tugg said he got his time machine to finally work. Shimmi said he really just went to Miami and back — but didn't travel in time.
3 photos today.

I think I finally got my time machine to work! It turns out, all I was missing was two string switches — one for superstring and one for bosonic — to control the rear deflector array, and about three rolls of electrical tape and some shrink wrap to hold it together. Then, under the keyboard, I installed and emergency dampener button, just in case inverse tachyon particles tried to interfere with the normal tachyon field emitted by the time machine. My biggest problem was coming up with a workable quantum theory of gravity... but enough about what I had to fix it — I MADE A TRIP THROUGH TIME! Where did I go? 1957! What did I bring back to prove it? PINK FLAMINGOS!

How do I know I went to 1957?! Because that's when the pink flamingo yard art was invented! It was invented by a cool guy named Don Featherstone! I think, by his name, he was destined to create pink flamingo yard art! Aren't the ones I brought back really cool!?

I just didn't realize how PINK, as in ultra-hot-pink, flamingos were until I was there and saw them on the lawn! Know, I didn't get to meet Don Featherstone, he wasn't there. The receptionist looked at me funny when I asked for him. Then I went outside, and saw something really cool, there was this lowrider going by, and then one of those new Camaros... I wonder if I should go back in time again and take them back. That doorman at the hotel started calling someone on his cell phone when I borrowed them from their front garden!

DAY 323

DAY 323 pupdate on Tugg: HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY (in the U.S.)! Tugg spent most of the day doing things that memorial day was meant for — he remembered those who gave their lives so that we can enjoy the liberties we now have. He went to the local cemetery and placed little American flags on all the graves of all the vets, and he stopped at a soldiers' memorial on the way home — where he hung his head...
3 photos today.

Since this is Memorial Day, I wanted to take a minute and remind everyone why we get to have cook outs and bar-b-que, and why those stores get to have extra sales... It's because there are many all over the world who have died so that we can be free. We must never forget them! AND, since we have many men and women serving in our armed forces today, willing to make that same sacrifice if needed, I started OSS (Operation: Support a Soldier)! What is it? Well, let my little friend here, Super TOAST (Tugg-on-a-stick-terrier) explain...

Well, it looks like Super TOAST is going to be shy, so I'll tell you about OSS! I make a Super TOAST that will go in a package with a letter explaining him, along with a couple of blank greeting cards so the soldier can write home. So, how do I know who to send it to? That's the easy part. You just e-mail me (my e-mail address is tugg@didyaq.com) with the name and address of the service member you would like to receive it, and I'll do everything else! It's that easy! You support the soldier, and I send them a couple of cool things that might make things a little easier and nicer for them!

And, if either of the two soldiers that I have adopted — how cool is it that I got to adopt someone too!? — or any other soldier or member of the armed forces is reading this, THANK YOU! we remember you too today, while we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice!

DAY 233

DAY 233 pupdate on Tugg: Today, Tugg found out that he just might have a relative out there in the world, and like Luke Skywalker in Star Wars, he has a... sister. At least we think there is a very real chance it is his sister. As such we are going to operate under the assumption that it is indeed his sister. Tell you what, tell us if you think it could be his sister...
4 photos today.

I found out today that I might have a sister! She was turned in to a local shelter because her family couldn't care for her any more. The shelter called us. Why do I think she could be my sister? there are a couple of reasons: She is about the same age as me! And there can't have been that many litters of bull terriers born around here at the same time a year ago. Also, the family that turned her in said they have been battling Demodex for about six months in her. That is the same thing I had so bad!

The bestest vet place in the world, the Animal Hospital of Southwest Fort Worth — where my favorite vets Dr. Morris and Dr. Lindsey happen to be — said they will examine and set out a plan of action to get my sister all better! Aren't they just super spectacular!? I wuff them so much! If you get the chance, go on their page and tell them how great of a job they do, caring for and wuffing and the animals in their care, please! Anyway, Dr. Morris said to bring my sister in Friday so he can have a look at her. He also said he is going to do a checkup on me! And, the great thing is mommy and daddy brought her home today, and while she's getting better, she is going to be living here!

My sister doesn't have demodex as bad as I did, but she still has it, and has lost a lot of hair. When her hair does come back in, she'll have a big brindle spot all around her left eye, and will probably have a little brindle spot over her right eye. Mommy and daddy said that we might get to do some obedience work together, since she is smart and sits pretty good on her own already!

Another reason I think she could be my sister is because our noses are so much alike! Our profiles are pretty similar too! I am so glad that we are going to get to help my sister get all better! When she does feel better in a little while, I'll have to make sure she comes to the LEASH meetings, then whether she stays living with us, or is adopted into a great forever home, she can still come to the meetings! Now, all I have to do is help mommy and daddy find a really great name for her!
