Day 778

DAY 778 pupdate on Tugg: Tugg walked in, went straight to daddy’s closet, and pulled out the flat boxes labeled “kilts and other special things.” He opened the up and started getting out what he wanted and took it with him to his studio. A few minutes later, Tugg came downstairs wearing the heavyweight brown canvas Utilikilt, small black hiking boots, his cowboy hat and a tool belt complete with h
ammer, a bull whip, a lock pick set, assorted screwdrivers and pouches filled with other small items and Clif bars. Ajaxx rolled over from his favorite nap position, opened one eye, and asked Tugg where he was going in that outfit. Tugg said, “I’m going to look for the Holy Grail! I was looking through some of the Knights Templar books in the library, and I have a pretty good idea where it might be located!”
Ajaxx thought for a moment and said, I guess you’re going to go look for the Arc of the Covenant after that, eh?!”
Tugg said, “Nope. I already know where that is! The government put it in a box and stored it away in some warehouse — probably number 13 — after they got it from the Nazis in WWII! BUT, I might go look for Amelia Earhart’s plane in the Phoenix Islands…”

I want to take a few moments today to say THANK YOU! I want to personally thank each and every one of you for being my friend and for sharing in my daily adventures! Thank you for remembering to wuff it forward with me! I get so many e-mail
s from all of you telling me your stories and giving me inspiration to keep sharing my stories. I am humbled and honored to hear how I have had an effect on your lives! I also want to take this moment to say an additional special thank you to everyone who has believed in me and has helped me achieve all the things I have. Without you, it would not be possible! I will continue to keep helping others, doing good deeds and being a super hero, thanks to you! I would like to say thank you to all of you who can see the vision of the projects I’ve done and am doing and want to help me to continue to wuff it forward! And, I have one last special thank you — to all of you who are supporters and sponsors of Team Tugg. Team Tugg will strive to help puppies and people puppies in need, and I am so thankful that you have seen the vision and want to be part of it! If any of you would like to thank the sponsors of Team Tugg by going to their page and telling them “Thank You for helping Team Tugg!” this group of sponsors is the best on the planet! Rudy Project FLUID Cowboys Stadium VCRC Bike Kalgard Nicky D's Crowley Dali Wall Decals Accents Retail @Sock Guy and our new potential sponsors ROL Wheels and Scott bikes
Who would have thought that a little puppy like I was, there on the left: wrapped in a blanket and staked next to the side of the highway, at only 4 months old, in the hot July sun only a little over two years ago — and left to die — would overcome several life-threatening ailments and go on to become the super hero and team mascot I am today! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for helping me become all that I can!

DAY 762

DAY 762 pupdate on Tugg: We watched as the school bus full of people puppies pulled up to the front of the house. The door opened, and we expected to soon have a lawn full of students visiting with Tugg and Ajaxx. INSTEAD, we saw a line of dogs go out the door, with Tugg in the lead, and Ajaxx bringing up the rear. We called out and asked where they were going, since we hadn't anything about all of the dogs getting on a school bus with all the kids.
Tugg said, "I put it on the schedule on the refrigerator! This is the field trip that everyone has on their schedule — and one of the only things I put on there for Ajaxx that he didn't mark out and write, 'Nap.' Aren't you coming?!"
1 photo today.

We went on a Team Tugg training ride today, and so I hooked the mobile command unit up to mommy's bike, and away we went. BUT, when we got home, I realized that there just isn't enough room for everything I need on the road, in the MCU. So,
I modified the MCU! I attached the MCU to the front of our 10-foot trailer! That should give me plenty of room to bring other stuff along! When mommy saw it she said that she doesn't think she can pull that too, because that trailer weighs almost 1,100 pounds. I told her that it really isn't that bad because once it gets moving, she'll never even know it's there! Besides, the tongue weight is less than 300 pounds, so that isn't very much!

Go Team Tugg!

DAY 760

DAY 760 pupdate on Tugg: We came home to find a large piece of paper covering the front of the refrigerator. At the top of the paper was written "Activity Calendar." It was divided into months for the rest of the year, with the months divided into weeks and the weeks into days. On each day was written the name of all the animals in the house, AND our names as well.
Next to Tugg's name was activit

ies like, "little league practice, life guard at the pool, bike riding training, super hero meeting, protect the city, find magic beans and go on adventure in the time machine."
Next to mommy's name, we noticed things like, "signed up for Zumba, so go to class, and tell Tugg how pawesome he is!"
Next to daddy's name were things like, "Fly a hot air balloon, and tell Tugg how pawesome he is!"
Next to Ajaxx' name were written lots of activities, but most were marked out with a red marker, and the word, "nap" was written in their place...
2 photos today.

I got a few e-mails asking if I had some other photos with me and Ben getting to hang out together at the Stockyards in Fort Worth Yesterday, so I thought I would put a few more up today! Here, Ben and I wanted to see how the bad guys feel when they get locked up, so we put ourselves in the stockyards jail! Jail isn't a good place, so we're not real sure why the bad guys always want us to catch them and send them to jail...

Ben even brought me a special Ohio State Buckeyes bandana! We had a really great time playing in the stockyards! AND, I even whispered to Ben that I was going to let him be the first people puppy member of L.E.A.S.H. (League of Extraordinary Animal Super Heroes)! He was pretty happy about that, but I told him that he couldn't let the grownups know...

DAY 759

DAY 759 pupdate on Tugg: Ajaxx asked us to go along to the little league practice with Tugg and him, because the coach was taking a day off. Before each play, the teams would huddle so that everyone knew what to do next. During one huddle we thought was going a little long — the people puppies were huddled for nearly 10 minutes — we went out to see what was happening. In the middle of the huddle w
as a map, with various places marked, path lines, and of course a big X.
Tugg was talking as we approached the huddle. Tugg said, "OK, so if we follow this treasure map and start over there at the starting spot, we'll need a sailboat, a dune buggy, a zip line and an elephant to reach the spot where the treasure is buried."
We looked down to the goal Ajaxx was defending, and he was curled up taking a nap. We yelled over and asked if he was going on the treasure hunt, and he said, "I'm going to stay here and take a nap, eh! Besides, they'll be back in a little while when they realize I have the keys to the monster truck they're going to need!"
4 photos today.

Today, I got to meet my friends Robin and Ben! We got to go down to a pretty famous place in Fort Worth, and there was a lot of fun things to do down there! BUT, nothing is as much fun as meeting friends in person!

I think Ben really had fun getting to just hang out with me for a while, and I had a really good time just getting to hang out with him too! Here I am giving Ben a stealthy kiss! I kind of did it sneaky and really laid on on him! I think he liked it too!

We ate some good Bar-B-Q and even rode on some rides together... BUT I uncovered a NEW BAD GUY! Ben and I were walking along, and just looking at all the cool things, when all of a sudden, this evil mechanical horse monster started making a
ll this noise and charging at us! (You can see it in the background of this photo!) So, naturally, the super hero in me took over and I jumped between Ben and the dangerous evil-doer! Then I flew Ben to safety down the way! I'll have to be on the look out for that bad mechanical horse monster in the future!

While we were eating, we got to watch something really cool — a real live cattle drive! There were cowboys that were driving cattle down the street, and into the corral at the end of the street, just like they used to do back in the Old Wes
t days! I wonder if they need any bull terrier super heroes to help them out with that!? I could be a good super hero cowboy! Ben and I had a really fun day, and I hope I get to spend time with him again sometime!

DAY 758

DAY 758 pupdate on Tugg: Ajaxx and Tugg were outside, each in different sports outfits, arguing about something — we weren't sure what.
Tugg said, "Yes I will!" Ajaxx said, "No you won't, eh!" And it went on for about five minutes...
So, we went outside to see if we could settle it. Ajaxx, in his soccer goalie uniform saw us coming and said, "Will you please tell Tugg that it doesn't go that way!

I'm the goalie and I'll stop the score!"
So Tugg answered, "Please tell Ajaxx that it doesn't go that way! I learned at little league yesterday that I get to hit the ball while I'm on a power play, and I'll hit a field goal! That means I'll score a Home Run Touchdown!"
Ajaxx said, "No you won't, eh!"
So we went back inside...

Original Art Sketch Card: "If I had a Boat"

Original Art Sketch Card: "If I had a Pony"

Original Art Sketch Card: "If I had a Pony I'd ride it on my Boat"

I just posted three new Original Art Sketch Cards, but I wanted to tell you the story behind it!
You see, I was talking with my friend, Lyle Lovett the other day, and I was telling him how much I like his music, and he was telling me how much he likes my sketch cards! Then Lyle said that I should do some sketch cards with one of his songs as a theme!
So, I said, "Lyle that is a p

awesome idea!"
These three cards are based on Lyle's song, "If I had a Boat." The first one is from the first line of the song that goes, "And if I had a boat, I'd go out on the ocean"
The second one is based on the second line of the song that goes, "And if I had a pony, I'd ride him on my boat"
The third card is the based on the last line of the first verse, "I'll sit me upon my pony on my boat."
They would be great as a set, or as individuals, so go and bid on your favorite one right NOW! You don't want to be outbid at the last minute!

DAY 754

DAY 754 pupdate on Tugg: We came home and heard the tools making the sounds tools make when Tugg is working on a project. We walked in and saw him working on Bubbles' bag she will ride in for her trip to her forever home! Tugg looked up, saw us, and said, "I'm trying to make a secret compartment that Duckie and I can ride in to go with Bubbles on her grand adventure! I think I almost have it done!" We just shook our heads and walked out of the room.

It's Friday, and you know what that means... Episode VI of my web series is up on my Blip TV channel!
AND It's the MID-SEASON FINALE, so go and check it out!
An all new episode (Episode VII) will be back on August 31! So that means you've got to watch this cliff-hanger! (Be sure to watch all the way to the end for a special surprise!) http://blip.tv/tugg/tugg-the-bull-terrier-episode-vi-time-making-time-mid-season-finale-6288459

DAY 750

DAY 750 pupdate on Tugg: Tugg sort of got the air conditioner to work in his Mobile Command Unit, though we made him opt for the lighter "swamp cooler" model during today's Team Tugg training ride. We think he was working on a new song, because every once in a while, he would sing a few lines — that weren't like any of the lines before it. After we rounded a corner and topped a hill, Tugg sang, "We saw three running deer, two different shoes and a giant political sign!"

I want to take this opportunity to show you the jersey design I've working on! This is kind of one of the final preliminary designs, as I am waiting to hear back from a couple of other sponsors who have expressed an interest in being on Tea
m Tugg! The jerseys are a full zipper in the front with the three pockets in the back raglan jersey! If you are interested in a Team Tugg bike jersey of your own, you will be able to order them for $50 + postage (that's right at cost)! I am trying to get a rough idea of how many I may need to order, so if you're interested in one, please let me know!

DAY 749

DAY 749 pupdate on Tugg: We noticed that the window air conditioner was missing out of the garage window this morning, and an extension cord ran all the way from where it was into Tugg's workshop. We went in to make sure that if he was using it, he used proper ventilation, but when we opened the door, we knew the AC unit would never go back into the window in the garage. Tugg saw us come in and sa
id, "Look at what I'm doing with the garage air conditioner! I'm going to modify it to run on solar, and I'm going to attach it to my Mobile Command Unit, so I can go with you on those big bike rides when it is hot! With the, two, four-foot solar panels I install, and the AC unit, it won't add much weight at all! I think it will only add about 80 pounds! That's not to shabby for a solar power air conditioner!"
1 photo today.

I did a new Team Tugg photo today, so I thought I would go ahead and make it my cover! What do you think!?

DAY 748

DAY 748 pupdate on Tugg: When Team Tugg rode in theTour de Goatneck today, it was determined that the temperatures would be to hot for Tugg to ride in his Mobile Command Unit. When we told Tugg he would have to stay home, he kind of moped for a few moments, then perked up and said, "I guess I can keep an eye on you from here!" While we were on the course, we thought we saw a little white and red streak fly by over head, and sure enough, when we got home, there was Tugg looking at photos he had taken while flying by...
2 photos today.

Team Tugg arrived early to the Tour de Goatneck ride this morning, and as we pulled in, other cyclists looked on to see if I was going to be able to go along in my Mobile Command Unit. Looking at the forecast, it was determined that only mo
mmy and daddy would ride in the ride. BUT, they had LOTS of company! Look at all the riders that rode with them today! I took this right before the starting gun sounded! I think they said there was about 3,000 bike riders today!

AND, here are a couple of secret photos I took of mommy and daddy at the Tour de Goatneck ride today! I don't think they knew I flew by and took these photos with my leash camera! They did really good at the ride and finished in the first group of riders! YAY TEAM TUGG! Just wait until the next ride when everyone gets to wear Team Tugg bicycle jerseys!

DAY 747

DAY 747 pupdate on Tugg: Since tomorrow is the debut ride of Team Tugg at the Tour de Goatneck, Tugg spent much of the day tuning up the bikes and getting everything ready! Some of the neighborhood people puppies saw him working in the garage and stopped by to talk bicycles with him as well, and that gave Tugg a chance to talk with them about his working with the Bikes For Kids program. They all thought it is a great idea. Tugg said he's even sleeping in his cycling gear tonight, just so he's ready for tomorrow!
1 link today.

It's Friday, and you know what that means... that's right! It means there is a NEW episode of my web series on my Blip TV channel! Go and watch it, while I finish getting ready for our ride at the Goatneck bike ride tomorrow! And remember, be nice to others and don't make fun of them, even if they are goats, because goats have feelings too!
http://blip.tv/tugg/tugg-the-bull-terrier-episode-5-t-n-t-6277465

DAY 744

DAY 744 pupdate on Tugg: We saw Tugg packing a backpack this morning, so we had to ask what he was doing or where he was going. Tugg smiled and said, "I'm just getting ready." And went back to packing. Ajaxx walked by on the way to the couch, and didn't seem to notice that Tugg was doing anything different. Without saying a word, Ajaxx picked up the sandwich that was wrapped in a baggie and tossed
it Tugg's direction. Tugg caught it in mid air, and kept packing. Then Ajaxx went to the couch and curled up.
Finally, Tugg looked up and said, "Oh, you're still standing there? Well, if you must know, I'm packing for a day trip out to talk to the goats. I want to get their opinion about the Tour de Goatneck bicycle ride that we're going to ride in this Saturday! I want to find out if it was named after a relative or in honor of them! I'll be down at their barn out there in the middle of nowhere, if you need me for anything!"
1 photo today.

I was working on my Team Tugg cycling jersey design today, and I was going to go with a background that looks like this — it's my family Tartan! But I think that when I put my designs on it, that it might be a tad bit too much. So, I think
I'll go with solid colors for the background! I think you'll like it when I get done with it. Who knows, maybe I'll do an "alternate" Team Tugg jersey, and use this as the background anyway! That might be cool! What do you think?

DAY 740

DAY 740 pupdate on Tugg: Today is Friday, and you know what that means! That's right, a NEW episode of Tugg's web series is up on his Blip TV channel! Go have a look, and share so all your friends can see it too!

Let's see how many shares

we can get for this climatic episode! (Also, be sure to watch all the way through until after the credits and stuff for a special surprise!)

I've had some e-mails asking me about the band who does my music and the other music you hear in the web series. The band is my good friends, Smithfield Fair! You can see their facebook page at this link, and you can even go to their website and get their CDs! Please go and "like" their page!

DAY 734

DAY 734 pupdate on Tugg: We noticed that Tugg's "someone lost it, I found it" box from his riding in the Mobile Command Unit on our Team Tugg training rides, is getting really full. So full, that it's almost taking up most of the hall now. We wouldn't let him put things he caught with his fishing poll and his magnet in the box — only things he found. It really is amazing what can be found on the s
ide of the road! A sampling of what's in the box: a total of $3.84 in various coins, a 4 gig Star Wars thumb drive, a pirate hat (that looks antique), a pocket watch that has seen better days, a swiss army knife, a Ping 5 iron golf club (that looks new), a University of Texas car flag, three different sandals, four different tennis shoes (all left shoes), several dozen nuts and bolts (which means there are several dozen cars missing them), half a dozen pacifiers, several wrenches, a pair of garden trimmers, a love letter, two novels (Atlas Shrugged and Farenheit 451) a studio microphone, three pairs of sunglasses and a treasure map (which Tugg swears he will use to find buried treasure).
Tugg said, "Pretty soon, I'll have enough stuff to have a yard sale! Then when someone comes and says, 'hey, I lost one of those,' I can give it back to them! Of course I'll know who the shoes belong to because they're only wearing the right one!"
2 photos today.

This is my bike, and helmet just after I got back from my Team Tugg training ride today — after I put my water bottles in the dishwasher! Notice the super cool "Team Tugg" decals on my bike and helmet, and the little bitty one of me on the back of the helmet! BIG thanks to Dali Wall Decals for making them! You should go to their page and show them some wuff!

Of course, a bike helmet always looks better when it is being modeled, so I thought I could show you what I look like as I pedal along... unfortunately, that photo was blurry, so I did this one instead to show you!

DAY 733

DAY 733 pupdate on Tugg: We came home today and saw that Tugg had painted himself to look like a skunk. Tugg walked in front of us, acting like nothing was different — just to see if we would notice. When we didn't say anything, Tugg said, "Do you notice anything different about me today?" We said no, and Tugg said, "I painted myself to look like a skunk! I look just like one, except I don't stink like one!"
From the living room couch we heard Ajaxx say, "That's what you think! I don't think you should eat those organic dog cookies any more!"
1 link today.

It's Friday night, so you know what that means! That's right, it means there is a new episode of my web series airing on Blip TV! Episode 3 of my web series is ready for you to watch! I'm excited to see what is going to happen!
Be sure to tell all of your friends to tune in and watch — and it's easy, just "share" this post on your facebook page!

DAY 730

DAY 730 pupdate on Tugg: We came home to find the house completely full of clocks — cuckoo clocks! Each one was set 1 minute faster or slower than the next, and the ones set to the same time were in different rooms in the house, so that there was a constant cuckooing in every room! We spotted Ajaxx in the living room on the couch, somehow managing to take a nap with all ruckus. We asked where Tugg
was, and Ajaxx just pointed to the upstairs hideout. Tugg was busy writing in his little note book, and didn't even look up when we walked in. Without looking up, he said, "Isn't it great!? I used my time machine to go back in time to when there was a bunch of cuckoo clock makers, and got a whole bunch of them! Now every time one of those little birds cuckoos, I can count it in my book! I've got to count 960 birds today, and it's still going!"

DAY 726

DAY 726 pupdate on Tugg: We caught Tugg dancing around the house today, with his ipod in and obviously at a loud volume — loud enoug
h we could hear what was playing. So we mouthed the words, "What are you listening to?" Tugg looked puzzled, and said, very loudly, "WHAT?!" Then he took out one of the earphones and said, "Oh, sorry. I'm listening to the super cool them music from my web series! You know a new episode is up today!"

DAY 722

DAY 722 pupdate on Tugg: Ajaxx watched Tugg as Tugg was busy designing his Team Tugg cycling jersey — all the while wearing his Spiderman jersey. Tugg held up different swatches of color and would hold up other next to them, then lay the colors of the drawings. After a few hours of watching this, Ajaxx said, "Hey, I want a jersey of my own too, eh! Can you stop working on yours for just a few minutes and help me do one? I kind of like the Spiderman one you're wearing, so make it look sort of like that, please." Tugg went to his closet and found a blank blue jersey, and took it out to the front porch.

Tugg called for Ajaxx to come out and look. When he went onto the porch, Ajaxx noticed the jersey and a very realistic looking desert tarantula drawing right in the middle. Ajaxx said, "That is very cool, eh!" Then he picked up a small stick and started to act like he was drawing an outline. "Do you think maybe you could draw a Maple Leaf around it like..." We then heard the loudest, most girlie, sounding scream come from both Tugg and Ajaxx, as they jumped straight up into the air.
Ajaxx, between breaths, said, "You used a real spider!?"
Tugg answered, "I didn't know it would move!"
5 illustration today.

I was sketching out a few things today, because I want get just the right images on the bike jersey I design for Team Tugg, and I wanted to work out some ideas for doing a few original art sketch cards! When mommy and daddy saw this drawing on my drawing table in my art studio, they said I definitely have to put these on the jersey somewhere! So now I just need a few more, and I'll work up a final design!

DAY 718

DAY 718 pupdate on Tugg: Tugg has been going all over town to tell everyone to tune in for the first episode of his WEB SERIES today. He even got out his markers and paint brushes to make his own promo cards, that read "My web series is sta
rting today with my first episode! Tune in today on my Blip.tv/tugg channel to watch!" Then he had the idea that he should do a few promo pieces of art commemorating the debut of his web series. We expect he will do some of those over the weekend...

Tugg: I AM SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE MY WEB SERIES DEBUT!
This is the first episode! My series airs on Blip TV, and a new episode will be put up on Fridays! I'll also put up that weeks episode on my Youtube page on Saturdays, just in case you want to watch it there instead. SO, without further adieu, here is the link to my WEB SERIES!
