DAY 904

DAY 904 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg was busy in the kitchen and recruited the briards Bizzy and Ditto to help him out — Bizzy, as a natural detail oriented party planner, and Ditto as helper in whatever capacity necessary. Bizzy went to the dining room, and set the formal dining table, complete with place settings, silverware, and name placards of who was to sit where, for the New Year's Eve festivities.
Ditto carried in the cake that Tugg had just finished decorating and asked Bizzy where it should go. Bizzy pointed to the small table in the corner, next to the buffet and said, "On the cake table, of course!" So, Ditto pout the cake on the table.
A few minutes later, Ditto brought in the punch bowl and asked where it was to be placed. Bizzy sighed and said, "On the buffet! Really Ditto, you should know the answers to these questions!"
Ditto kept bringing in other necessary evening meal/party things and Bizzy directed each item to its "proper" place.
While Bizzy was checking on other arrangements, Tugg walked into the dining room, moved the cake from the cake table to the center of the dining table, the punch bowl to the cake table and put the carved turkey on the buffet.
We heard a loud "thud" and rushed to the dining room to see what had happened. Tugg said, "Well, Bizzy was busy being Bizzy and planning a very busy New Year's party atmosphere. I came in and re-aranged it the way I thought it should be, and she said it was HER party, since she is the planner, and I need to switch it all back. I told her I would when it was time for her party, but I want it arranged like this for the PRE-party. So then she said she was having a pre-pre party, and so I said I was having a pre-pre-pre party..."
Ajaxx walked through the dining room, sipping from a straw in a glass with a little umbrella in it, and said, "I think Bizzy fainted when Tugg finally said that he was having a pre-post-pre-pre-pre-post-pre-pre-post-pre-pre-pre-pre party, eh! I think that means one of the parties has started, because I have an umbrella in my drink!"

DAY 903

DAY 903 pupdate on Tugg:
All was quiet in the house, which is a very unusual thing at Tugg's pink house. We thought we could almost hear the sound of writing. Not writing like typing away on a keyboard, but actual writing with a pencil on paper. So, we quietly walked down the hall toward the studio where the writing sound was coming from. In the studio, Tugg sat at his drawing desk, and Ajaxx sat at a small work table — each intensely thinking and writing.
Ajaxx saw us first and said, "We heard that we we are supposed to write down some kind of 'resolutions' for tomorrow night, eh! So, we're coming up with at least 10 each! See, I've already got numbers one through four covered! Number one, take more early afternoon naps!Number two, look cute and snuggle to mommy and daddy to get extra cookies! Number three, take more late morning naps! Number four, Take more late afternoon naps!"
Tugg stopped writing and said, "I've got a good start on mine too! Number one, figure out a way that Ajaxx can do more of my chores! Number two, make sure the plasma field is stable when recalibrating the graviton sieve phase generator! Number three, sneak extra cookies by looking cute and telling mommy and daddy that Ajaxx said I can have his! Number four, Help daddy train for riding across the country on his bicycle! Number five, let Ajaxx think something cool was his idea! See, I'm doing good too!"

My friends, Greg and Anita, have a T.O.A.S.T. (Tugg-On-A-Stick-Terrier), aka: the flat me, that lives with him and goes on adventures all over his city! AND, since Greg drives one of the buses in town, the flat me gets to see all kinds of cool things and talk to all kinds of people and people puppies! To get in the holiday mood, T.O.A.S.T. even wore a festive Santa Paws style hat! Here is T.O.A.S.T. in the window telling everyone Hello and Merry Christmas!

AND, in case you didn't see him, here's a closeup of T.O.A.S.T. (Tugg-On-A-Stick-Terrier)! Isn't he handsome!? If you ever rides Greg's bus, you have to tell him that you know me too! Then y'all can share stories! Wouldn't that be neat!? As a matter of fact, if you ever ride a bus, the next time you get on, I want you to smile at the driver and say, "I wuff Tugg!" If the driver smiles back and says, "Tugg wuffs you too!" you'll know that you are riding with a very cool bus driver!

I believe in you! I wuff you! Thanks for being my friend!

DAY 902

DAY 902 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg walked through the house wearing ski goggles and a Peruvian winter hat. When he got to where Ajaxx was napping on the couch, he gently shook Ajaxx until one eye opened. Tugg then handed Ajaxx a matching hat and goggles and whispered something to him. Ajaxx put on the hat and goggles and followed Tugg out the door.
Later, the two returned home, with a large delivery truck following behind. After directing the delivery driver to place all the boxes in the hallway and living room, Tugg and Ajaxx started opening the boxes one by one.
Ajaxx reached in and pulled out a blue, puffy-looking, rolled up sleeping bag, while Tugg pulled out a green one that looked more like a cocoon. Each wiggled their way into the respective sleeping bag and lay still for a few moments. Those two were tossed to the side, and two more sleeping bags of varying colors and thicknesses were tried out. This went on for a long while.
We finally asked what the two of them were doing, and Tugg said, "Well, it started off that we were going to get sleeping bags and go to the mountaineering school in the Himalayas, but then we heard that there are a bunch of people who don't have homes, and live out on the street! Some of them are even people puppies! So we went and got these sleeping bags to give them so they won't be so cold at night! And we're trying them out to make sure they are comfy!"
Ajaxx said, "Yeah, and each time we try one out, we can pretend we're at mountaineering school for a few minutes at a time, eh! That's almost the best of both worlds!"

DAY 901

DAY 901 pupdate on Tugg:
We heard the pitter patter of lots of little feet going down the hall, around the corner and up the stairs. We were sure some of the pitter patter was from the four-leggeds who live here and the fosters who are staying here, but some of the pitter patter also sounded like small two-legged visitors. So, we looked up the stairs, just as the door to Tugg's "Super Secret SuperHero Hideout" shut. We noticed the "boys only" sign was not hanging on the door, so we wondered what Tugg and Ajaxx were up too — with all the dogs and half of the neighborhood people puppies.
So, we crept up the stairs and cracked open the door. Sure enough the hideout was filled with all of the four-leggeds at our house, Mr. Ross, Woody, a few boy scouts, a few girl scouts, some members of a children's choir and some poepl in cycling gear. At the front of the room was Tugg and Ajaxx. Ajaxx was holding up two really big candy canes, and Tugg was animatedly talking.
Tugg said, "AND, did you know that the Grand Candy Cane will come and visit you if you've been good all year long?! Not only do you get presents from Santa Paws, BUT you also get big 'ol candy canes from the Grand Candy Cane! OK, who got candy canes from the Grand Candy Cane this year? Raise your paws!"
There was a little shuffling and a few raised their paws, but most didn't. Ajaxx put down the candy canes he was holding and sat on the sofa cushion on the floor. Tugg sighed and said, "Who has never heard the story of the Grand Candy Cane?!" A few paws went up.
Tugg smiled and started, "Good! Then let me tell you all about the Grand Candy Cane! You see, it all started many, many years ago in this little candy shop that was in a tiny town that was snowed in the day before Christmas..."

DAY 900

DAY 900 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg was in his studio, and had his sewing machine out. Over in the corner, and we later found out filling the whole garage, were boxes of material Tugg had bought from a surplus auction. Ajaxx walked into the studio, saw the pile of blankets, parachutes and canvas, watched Tugg sewing for a few minutes, and curled up for a nap in the middle of it.
We had to run a few errands, and when we got home we noticed the entire house was draped with sewn together parachutes and blankets it what appeared to be a big tent.
Finding the door wasn't that hard, and we noticed that all of the inside also had fabric draped all around.
Tugg noticed we had come home and said, "How do you like my new and improved tent fort!? I was going to just make a little one, but then I got all this cool stuff, so I wanted to make a big one. And, since I didn't have any big tent poles, I just used the whole house! If I would have had big couch cushions, I could have used those too!"
Ajaxx, without opening his eyes said, "If there was a big couch with big couch cushions, I could take a really big nap, eh!"

Never give up! You are great just the way you are! Always remember to wuff it forward!

DAY 898

DAY 898 pupdate on Tugg:
We got up early to see if Tugg and Ajaxx had made it back from helping Santa Paws with his rounds, and sure enough, Ajaxx was in his spot on the couch and Tugg was in the dog bed closest to the Christmas Tree — undoubtedly waiting for Santa to bring HIS gifts, even though he had been with Santa almost all night.
The two looked so peaceful, just snoring away, that we gathered all the other dogs and told them we would have to wait for a little while to open presents. So, we all gathered in the bedroom and drank hot chocolate while watching Charlie Brown have his Christmas, then Frosty the Snowman, then the Grinch and finally Rudolph.
Almost at the end of Rudolph, the two sleepy-eyed bull terriers walked slowly into the bed room, and crawled into bed with the rest of us.
Tugg said, "Did you see? Santa Paws came back after he dropped us off, because there are lots of presents under the tree! I sure hope Santa remembered to give me that sub-space, antimatter, polar reverse optimization switch for my time machine I asked for! "
Ajaxx said, "Yeah, that was a lot of fun helping Santa Paws last night, eh, but it will be even more fun opening all those presents! I'll bet there's a hockey goalie set in there somewhere!"
7 photos today.

We had a really grand time at my house for Christmas! Here are two of the fosters at my house, Pipp and Squeek, enjoying some really cool outfits my friends Robin and Ben sent for them! Aren't they pawesome?! They were all set for the holidays!

Here are Pipp and Squeek again, looking so full of holiday cheer in their outfits! I would also like to thank EVERYONE who sent me a Christmas card and/or Christmas photo this year! I wuff you all so much! You have no idea how very special you made Christmas for us! I wish I could thank you all individually, but that list would be almost as long as Santa's naughty and nice list was!

I wanted to make sure to take some individual photos of everyone too, so here is Pipp, right before he opened his present of the giant doggie bone! I think it came from some dinosaur it was so big!

And Squeek was really happy that the Grand Candy Cane left her a big doggie candy cane of her very own! She said she might have liked a bone too, but she can have her candy cane, and then steal Pipp's giant dinosaur-size doggie bone when he takes a nap!

The other foster doggie at our house right now, Dexxter, got some really cool outfits from my friends Robin and Ben too! Here, Dex is showing off his cammo look! Right as I was taking this photo, Dex said, "I make this look good, y'all!"

AND Dexxter also rocked the stripe look today! Dex said he once had a cousin that wore stripes all the time, mostly because I think he was in doggie jail, but his cousin couldn't "rock the look" as good as Dexxter can. Then Dex pointed out that he wasn't even on the naughty list this year, even though he could have been!

Here I am, after I opened my very own Bullseye (not the Marvel bad guy that fights Daredevil, but the cool bull terrier from Target!) I wuff Christmas! AND I wuff you too! Hug someone today and tell them that you wuff them!
OH, and even though Ajaxx got to say it last night in Santa Paw's sled, today I get to say, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Tugg night!"

DAY 897

DAY 897 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg and Ajaxx were up and leaving the house before sunrise, because the pair are riding around the world with Santa Paws being his helper. Tugg said, "We have to leave early today, because today is tomorrow on the other side of the world, then we come back to today, which is yesterday from over there! And, since we go to everyone's house, we have to be there on the right day, er, ah, I mean, night!"
Ajaxx said, "Yeah, and Santa Paws said that since I have a good voice, I get to be the one that calls out, 'Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!' this year, eh!"
2 photos today.

It is Christmas Eve here in Texas! That means it is time for the reading of my Christmas poem! Go ahead, get some hot chocolate, gather all the people puppies — young and old — and continue the new tradition of reading it to your family every Christmas Eve, that we started last year!
Merry Christmas everyone!

’Twas a Night at Tugg’s House

’Twas the night before Christmas, and over at Tugg’s place,
The time machine was a whirring, and spinning in space.
There were flashes of light and whistles galore,
With no room for more gadgets. Well, maybe one more.
The pups were snuggled in, fast asleep in the beds,
While dreams of cookies and bones danced in their heads.
Tugg tinkered with this, and adjusted the that,
And hoped before morning he would get a small nap.
When up in his workshop there arose such a clatter,
We, and all the animals, bound up the stairs with our teeth all a chatter.
One step, two steps, then three and then four,
When we reached the top, we flung open the door.
Ajaxx sat in the corner with a box on his head,
And Tugg fastened the nut on the last screw thread.
The light flickering from the control panel board
Bathed the room in a light none could ignore.
Tugg had packed his bags and suitcases with all of his stuff,
Just in case the journey through time might turn rough.
A trip through the cosmos was high on Tugg’s list,
To help steer the contraption, he needed an assist.
Ajaxx jumped from the corner and hucklebutted around the room,
While Bizzy and Ditto cheered on with shouts of, “vroom, vroom!”
Tugg fitted his cape, a super hero was he,
Ajaxx adjusted his hat and his goggles — eyes wide open with glee.
With a crack, and whiz and a boom and a pop,
The time machine disappeared, and was no where in the shop.
A few moments later in the corner we saw,
Another dog who looked like Tugg, but he was too small.
He was dressed in red and pink from his head to his paw,
And on his shoulder sat a tiny, miniature, rainbow colored macaw.
His eyes, how the twinkled, his smile how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose a heart-shaped cherry!
From another dimension the small dog said he came,
A rip in the fabric of time had caused the crossing of plains.
While he was small his name was Tugg too,
And in his world he led the Christmas band, a band of kazoos.
Suddenly in a flash our Tugg and Ajaxx appeared,
Each dressed in strange clothes and sporting new beards.
“We have presents for all,” Tugg exclaimed,
Then saw the new guest, the guest yet unnamed.
He said, “I’m Tugg from a small alternate plane,
To fix my own time machine, a small wire I need to obtain.”
Maxx and Scoop went the the pile of left over and spare parts,
And brought over a thing with wires and tarts.
The thing with wires fit in a place that started small Tugg’s machine,
And small Tugg jumped in like a small jumping bean.
“Before I go, there’s something you must know,
I thank you, I thank you, so I left you a present, and you can’t say no.”
“Under the tree in the living room below,
You’ll each find your name on a package with a bow.”
And with that, his craft lifted from it’s small hiding place,
And started to whir and spin into space.
But we heard him exclaim as he flashed from sight,
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a Tugg night!”

DAY 896

DAY 896 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg and Ajaxx were watching the weather forecast, and heard that there is a possibility of snow here Christmas Eve into Christmas Day.
Tugg looked at Ajaxx. Ajaxx looked at Tugg.
Tugg said, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?!"
Ajaxx said, "This is Texas and we already had snow a few years ago, eh?!"
Tugg answered, "No! I'm thinking sled race!"
Ajaxx said, "But isn't that what we're doing with Santa Paws in a little while?!"
1 link and 1 photo today.

I wanted to make a Christmas card (or holiday card) that you could everyone could forward to their friends if they wanted to, and so Ajaxx and I made this! Feel free to post it on your friend's wall and tell them you wuff them and wish them a Merry Christmas! I wuff you!

DAY 884

DAY 884 pupdate on Tugg:
We noticed that Tugg's workshop had been MOSTLY cleared, or at least organized a bit more and most things put away. In the place of all the half-started experiments and mostly completed thing-a-ma-bobs were lots of maps and charts and scaled down 3D models, complete with push pins and labels on everything in a multitude of colors. There even appeared to be models of famous places, cities and wonders of the world. Tugg, wearing his time travel goggles, was busy tying different colored yarn to different push pins and stringing all the way over to other push pins. Ajaxx would hold a paw on one of the pins while Tugg would string out the yarn — all over the room. Some of the pieces of yarn even wound each of the bull terriers.
Tugg saw us and said, "I heard that the world is supposed to end on December 21, because the Myans ran out of space on their big rock for more days on their calendar. SO, we've come up with a plan, that I think just might save the Earth! Of course, it involves multiple jumps through time and space, and involves precise calculations, but I think we can do it!"
Ajaxx added, "And, if you come out here on December 22 and Tugg's workshop is still a mess, and I'm inside taking a nap on my couch, you'll know our plan worked, eh!"
1 photo today.

The best time to wuff is ALWAYS now! Who are you going to tell you wuff them?!

DAY 883

DAY 883 pupdate on Tugg:
We saw Tugg sitting on the small dock he had built that went out over the huge tank housing Hugh the great white shark. He was talking to, and sharing a bologna sandwich with Hugh.
Later we watched as the helicopter with a huge sling gently picked up Hugh and carried him back to his home in the ocean. BUT, we did notice what appeared to be a brown bag lunch in the sling with him.
We asked Tugg about what they had been talking about, and Tugg said, "Well, first we talked about what our favorite kind of sandwich is the best sandwich ever. And, he said he was really glad to spend a few days here for a vacation! Then we talked about what Hugh's home is like out in the ocean, and he said that I could come visit him sometime! He said his mother is really good at making sushi! Then he told me to remember something for whenever I go fishing! He said, 'OK, Tugg, remember, SOME fish are friends, not food! Other fish are food!' I thought that was pretty insightful!"
1 photo today.

What are you passionate about? What have you accomplished? What are you GOING TO accomplish? I know you can do it! I believe in you, and I wuff you!

DAY 874

DAY 874 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg said, "Well, I'm off to do some volunteer work!" Then, Tugg packed a small backpack and headed out the door. On his way, Tugg stopped at the couch and whispered to Ajaxx. Ajaxx rolled off the couch, went to the studio and got several sheets of paper and some paper clips, which he put into his own backpack and headed out behind Tugg.
A little while later the phone rang, and the voice on the other end asked us to come down to the Christmas Tree lot, where Tugg and Ajaxx were volunteering.
When we got to the tree lot, we noticed Tugg and Ajaxx out front, with a line of people waiting to go get their tree. Tugg said, "OK, what's your favorite name?" The person answered, then Ajaxx flipped through some pages and said, "That's on row 13 tree number 8, eh!"
Then we noticed that all of the trees had name tags hung on them. Tugg saw us and said, "We wanted to do something different, so we named all the tress on the lot! Then we hung name tags on them, so people can pick them out by name, and that's the tree they get!"
Ajaxx said, "We did a couple of the trees with the same name, just in case someone named their tree the same, eh! See, that one over there is Elvira, that one is Anton, that one is Walter, that one is Florence and that one over there is Reginald."

DAY 871

DAY 871 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg called a family meeting this morning, so we all gathered to see what it was he wanted to talk about. Tugg decided that we all need to pose for one of those "family Christmas Card photos" that he really likes seeing this time of year. So, he asked everyone for their suggestions for what everyone would dress as, for what the theme would be.
Bizzy thought for a moment then said, "I think maybe we could all dress like different ornaments, and we could pose in an arrangement that would make it look like we are on a tree!"
Scoop said, "Maybe we could dress like cartoon characters! I call Bugs Bunny!"
Ditto said, "I'm thinking we should dress like everyone who was in the manger scene with baby Jesus! I want to be a wise man though. I don't want to be a camel like I had to be in that play a few years ago."
Ajaxx said, "I think we all need matching sweaters, eh! You know, with like snowflakes or something!"
Maxx said, "Why don't we just dress like ourselves, no special costumes, just us. Then we each get our own, really big bone!"
Tugg thought for a minute and said, "Hmm. I was thinking more like everyone wearing Team Tugg jerseys or t-shirts, but now I'll have to think the other ideas. I'll let you know what I come up with!"
1 photo today.

Did you tell someone that you wuff them, today? Who did you tell!? Who are you going to tell that you wuff them tomorrow!?

DAY 865

DAY 865 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg was up early, waking everyone up and getting everything ready, because he had a busy day. First, it was off to the animal shelter to visit the animals there and reassuring them that there are people out there who will wuff them. Then, it was off to deliver a route for Meals on Wheels, and back to the soup kitchen to serve a meal to those less fortunate, and finally, he was back home, setting up a party that totally surprised mommy for her birthday.
After the party, Tugg said, "OK, now that we've got all that taken care of, it's time to go for a bike ride with the whole family, and some of the neighborhood people puppies! While we're out, maybe we can stop by the school yard and get a good game of Thanksgiving football going!"
Ajaxx looked at Tugg, and headed for his spot on the couch. As he was walking away, Ajaxx said, "I was OK with the bike ride, eh, but that whole football game thing might take time away from my nap! So, all y'all go ahead and go. I'll protect the couch and watch football on TV!"
1 illustration today.

At this time of Thanksgiving we pause to count our blessings: The freedom of this great country in which we live, its opportunity for achievement, to God for his unspeakable gift and the friendship between you and me. For all of these things, and all the countless other blessings in my life, I am deeply thankful.
From everyone here at my house, our best wishes to you and yours for a Happy Thanksgiving!

DAY 863

DAY 863 pupdate on Tugg:
The phone rang, and Tugg flew through the house to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Yes, this is Tugg."
"Who?"
"Oh, I didn't know I have a cousin with that name. Are you Ajaxx cousin too?"
"Uh-huh." "hmm" "probably" "uh..."
"Oh, well... OK?"
"bye bye!"
Since everyone had gathered around while Tugg was on the phone, after he hung up, Tugg looked at all of us and said, "Apparently we have a cousin we didn't even know about and his name is Ned. AND Ned is coming over to spend Thanksgiving with us."
Ajaxx said, "Oh, cool! I'll go and make sure there is another place set at the table, eh! I might have to build another leaf to fit in it!"
Tugg said, "Oh, better make that four extra places. Ned said he is bringing a few friends too."
2 photos today.

The nice mail lady came with another package today! My friends Barbara and Sadie sent Ajaxx and me a great Thanksgiving card and special St. Francis medals! We put them on our collars with our super hero badges! I am SO LUCKY to have such great friends like all of you!

The St. Francis medals my friends Barbara and Sadie sent are really cool, and on the back it says, "bless and protect my pet!" I think they go perfectly with our super hero badges!
Remember, tomorrow is the day before Thanksgiving, so that means you have to tell everyone you talk to that you wuff them! It's easy, just say, "I wuff you!" then smile and go on doing whatever you were doing!

DAY 843

DAY 843 pupdate on Tugg:
Halloween. The sun was barely starting to set and there were already lines of children up and down the street waiting for the trick-or-treating to begin, and lines of older kids, young adults and parents waiting for the haunted house and zombie shoot-em-up to start.
Tugg walked down the hall, clapped twice and called out, "Places everyone!" Then Tugg went to the wall of TVs he had gathered together to watch the storm coverage and turned them all on. Each screen was filled with the same paused image — an image of an illustrated pumpkin, with the words "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" written across it. After the Great Pumpkin, other films were waiting to play, including: The Nightmare Before Christmas, Young Frankenstein, Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie, Monsters Inc. and Ghostbusters.
Then Tugg said, "It's go time!"
Tugg hit the play button on the remote control, and flung open the front door. There were cheers and clapping from all around.
Tugg said, "Welcome to our not so scary haunted house! This year we have a great spooky tour for all ages! If you're looking for the scary stuff, go ahead around to the Zombie Shoot-em-up! It's around back! OH, and be sure to get some candy out of the cast iron kettles on the way out, BUT be sure not to let any of the monsters in the grave yard have any! They aren't supposed to have chocolate!"
1 photo today.

We decided to get in some early trick-or-treating, before our haunted house and zombie shoot-em-up started, so Ajaxx and I got on our basketball outfits and got ready to go door-to-door! AND, just to get us started, my friends Brenda and Charlie sent us these great Frankeweenie trick-or-treat bags! AND Bubbles and her mommy and daddy sent us some cookies to get started too! Here we are, all set to go! Thank you everyone for the great treats!
I hope everyone is safe out there today on Halloween! Get lots of candy and have lots of fun, but most of all, be safe!
Happy Halloween!

DAY 840

DAY 840 pupdate on Tugg:
Ajaxx walked down the hall, wearing a pink tutu, carrying a tray with a teapot, three cups and some cookies. Naturally, we followed to see what was going on.
In the living room, sitting at the small round table was Tugg, his new little someone special, and Ajaxx — all wearing pink tutus. Each had a teacup in front of them, and each picked up their own cup and took a sip. Tugg set the example and convinced everyone to hold out their pinky-paw while sipping the tea.
The trio saw us and Tugg said, "Oh, hi! She wanted to have a tea party, so we're having one! After we're done here we're going to practice our cheers for the bicycle ride Team Tugg is going to do on November 3rd! You know, the Team is riding in the Mineola Metric Century bicycle ride! Of course, anyone who is in the area and wants to ride too, can still register and ride! We'll cheer for them too!"

I wuff you!

DAY 837

DAY 837 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg walked through the front door carrying a small bundle. We watched as Tugg went to the living room, whispered something in Ajaxx' ear and headed toward his workshop. Ajaxx rolled over, got off the couch, and went to the workshop too. A few minutes later, Tugg came in to where we were and said, "Where do we keep those little pouches of soft food? I, uh, need one for an experiment."
We told him where they were and waited until he had gotten one and gone back to his workshop. Then we peeked in the door to see what was going on.
There, still wrapped in the bundle, although on the floor now, was a very small border collie eating out of the bowl Tugg had gotten with the soft food.
Tugg and Ajaxx both saw us and Tugg said, "I don't know her name yet, because she is just eating, and she was so weak because she hasn't eaten in a while, so I didn't ask her yet!"
Ajaxx smiled really big and said, "Isn't she cute, eh!?"
4 photos today.

Sharing this again, for anyone who didn't see it when I announced it on Monday:

I just had an idea for a special video project! If you would like to be part of it, all you have to do is take a short video of you (or your doggies, kitties or people or people puppies or whoever you want in it, as long as you include your voice talking) telling me one (or more) of these things:

1) How you first found me, and what you thought.
2) If I inspire you in any way, and how.
3) If I have helped you in any way.
4) What I mean to you.
5) Anything you just want to tell me.

Take a short video (anything under minute is great), and e-mail the video clip to me at my e-mail: tugg@didyaq.com

I need to have the video clips by next week (Let's just say Monday, Oct. 29), in order to get my editor friend to help me put them together, so get out your camera (or phone) and send me a little video!

I wuff you!

Remember yesterday when I told you that you can't help everyone, but that everyone can help someone?! Well, I would like you to meet my someone for today! I don't know her name yet, because I just brought her home today! She is really, really skinny, though you can't really tell in the photos. I don't think she has eaten in a while... so I fed her right away!

Yep, she's really small too! Even though she is about 6-months-old, she only weighs about 6 pounds! That's really small for a border collie at 6 months! I think whatever people left her alone didn't leave any food for her or her sister. Unfortunately, her sister didn't make it, BUT, I'm going to do everything I can to get her better!

Isn't she cute? She is so tiny! But, mommy and daddy said I was really tiny when I first came home too, so she can still grow and catch up to her real size! She doesn't know her name, and I haven't thought of a name for her yet, but I'm sure we'll think of something — and it will be unique like her! Eventually, after I help get her better, she will be available for adoption through www.bcrescuetexas.org !

DAY 830

DAY 830 pupdate on Tugg:
Tugg wheeled our bikes out to the workshop and put them up on the mechanics stand. We asked why he was tuning up the bikes today since we were just doing a training ride today.
Tugg said, "No, it's not just any training ride today! We're going to ride to Nicky D's Crowley, so we can have a really good lunch! I think I'll have the grilled chicken sandwich and some onion rings! You do know that they have been voted many times for having the best burgers and onion rings, right!?"
Tugg thought for a minute and added, "You know, they are one of our Team Tugg sponsors! They also said that if any of my friends come in for lunch and mention that I sent them in will GET A 10% DISCOUNT! So be sure to tell everyone to go there for the best burgers around AND get a 10% discount for telling them that Tugg sent you!"

DAY 811

DAY 811 pupdate on Tugg:
We heard Tugg's voice coming from the living room, "What about this one?" A pause. "OK, well, what about this one?" This went on for about a half hour, and we never heard a single response to the question, so we walked down the hall and peeked in. Tugg stood in the middle of the room, trying on different combinations of collars and Dallas Cowboys jerseys, trying to decide what to wear to his appearance at Cowboys Stadium tomorrow. On the couch, Ajaxx was almost napping, eyes closed, on his back, with his legs slightly up in the air. Whenever Tugg would ask his opinion, Ajaxx would move one of his paws and wave it about slightly. Finally Tugg said, "Aw, c'mon! You've got to like one of them!"
Ajaxx opened one eye, looked at Tugg, closed his eye and said, "I think I like the first combination, eh!"
